Who We Are
At Corcoran Pet Care Center, we care about animals and fostering the human-animal bond. We strive to forge lifelong relationships with our clients and their animal companions by providing quality veterinary care for dogs and cats. We are a locally owned, family-run business. Clients from Corcoran and throughout the Twin Cities greater metropolitan area have entrusted their pets to our expertise for 30 years.
We would like to get to know you and your furry family!
Our veterinarians: Dr. Ian Drummond, Dr. Karin Harp, Dr. Gina Wintermantel and Dr. Jeffrey Stueve.
Dr. Ian Drummond earned his BS from the University of Minnesota in 1978. His travels toward becoming a veterinarian got side tracked briefly with being a dairy farmer. He loved working with dairy cows, especially Jerseys, but soon realized his future lay with companion animals . He attended he University of Minnesota and in 1985 graduated with a DVM degree. He has been at CPCC since 1986, and in 1989 purchased the clinic. Over the years he has had the privilege of working with and been inspired by some amazing team members and serving incredible people and their dog and cat companions (with the occasional rat, rabbit and duck along the way!). He is constantly awed by observing the human-animal bond and the power these creatures have to transform and enrich our lives.
Dr. Karin Harp began her education at McGill University, graduating with her BA with the class of 1985. She later went on to get her MS from Northwestern University in 1984 and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1990 with her DVM.
Dr. Gina Wintermantel attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for her undergraduate and graduate studies. She received her DVM degree in 1992.
Dr. Jeffrey Stueve graduated from St. John's University, MN in 2000 and then attended the University of Minnesota, where he graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 and a Master's of Public Health in 2009. He initially pursued veterinary medicine because of his interests in math, science, and chemistry. He also felt that every day in veterinary medicine brought something new and exciting. Over time, he enjoyed making connections with owners and pets! By building relationships with families, he grew to understand more about how important pets are to their families and work transformed into a day of reconnecting with “furry” friends. His veterinary interests are dentistry, surgery, dermatology and preventive medicine. Dr. Stueve is married and has 4 children (twin boys and 2 little princesses). His family inspires and challenges him to be better every day and they show him the importance of work/life balance. Dr. Stueve loves the outdoors and is particularly passionate about wildlife conservation and forestry and wants to make sure he leaves a better legacy for his kids.
